What Students Are Saying
I encourage all prospective students to tour the campus because thats how I fell in love with it.
Alysha from Yucaipa, CA
Come check out the campus see it you like it. Once you've decided to come here make sure to get involved on campus it opens so many doors. If you can I highly advise doing Student Leadership Program during the summer you'll meet so many new people.
Also make sure you go to as many events at school because all the events we put together it's for the students and you're paying for it through ur student fees so get your moneys worth by going.

some tips would be to try hard in school. the main point is to never give up and never stop. keep trying and trying until you reach your goals.
Jose from PORTERVILLE, CA
Tour this school. Stepping onto campus may make you fall in love with it. Also, talk to advisers and counselors to see if the programs available would suit you. CSU Stanislaus is a very good place for people who have a lot passion for furthering their education. Get to know the professors, they are wonderful!
Samantha from Stockton, CA
If you are a transfer student I suggest visiting the school and seeing a councellor to make sure you dont repeat any classes or take more than you need. For incoming freshman make sure u look closely at your classes to get done faster. Good luck!
Cristal from Stockton, CA
Get involved on campus, it enhances your network and college experience.
Lucero Ambriz from Stockton, CA
First tip is to be out of comfort zone and be outgoing, the more people you know the better your college experience will be. Second, STUDY STUDY STUDY when it comes to any kind of tests and especially finals it will pay off. Third, just have fun and go and watch our athletics, the games are a fun experience.
Mariah from Salinas, CA
Be prompt, always ask questions and talk to your professors for feedback, get enough sleep, study and read the subjects before hand.

If you have a way to get around faster, like a bike or a skateboard, i would highly recommend bringing that if you have a problem with walking around. The campus is huge. Before 8 A.M is the best time to find parking, before that good-luck,
Dave from Turlock, CA
CSUS is the place to be! The academic advisors are extremely helpful and the programs offered for student achievement are extremely awesome!
