These scholarships are for students in Wisconsin who are blind or visually impaired. To qualify for these scholarships, applicants must meet the following criteria: Wisconsin residency (demonstrated through a photocopy of a valid state ID); a minimum 2.5 GPA or, for BEP applicants, a letter of recommendation from BEP instructor; and visual acuity of 20/70 or less in the better eye with the best conventional correction, or a visual field of 20 degrees or less. Applicants must enroll part- or full-time in a technical college or university program. Incoming freshmen must provide verification of high school GPA.
