Bill and Joan were born into the era of the great depression. Growing up during this tumultuous time of uncertainty and hardship shaped their values on life, family and faith.

The William B. and Joan A. Ramsay Scholarship is their way of supporting many more young people to pursue his or her passions and to use our knowledge and careers to improve the world around them.do the same. As recipients of this gift, please honor Bill and Joan’s generosity in your pursuit of higher education and service to others with respect and integrity.

This scholarship is for graduating seniors of Appleton public and private high schools who plan to pursue a career in medicine or medical research at an accredited college or university.
