Westminster High School Marching Band Scholarship

Community Foundation of Carroll County

This scholarship is for graduating seniors at Westminster High School in Westminster, Maryland, who are members of the marching band. To qualify, applicants must have a B average, have been in the school marching band for at least three years, have motivated others to succeed in the high school band and have encouraged at least six students to join the marching band. Applicants must also have shown a 50% improvement over three years in their ability to use their instrument or color guard equipment, and have signed an agreement to mentor and train new marching band members for one week during any of the summer band camps.
