This scholarship is for high school seniors and alumni from the Big Country area in Texas. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must enroll or be currently enrolled in a health information technology (medical records, billing, or transcription) or allied health program (such as ultrasound/sonographers or radiology, surgical or cardiovascular technicians). Applicants must plan to attend an accredited vocational or two- or four-year college that provides a state-recognized medical license or certification upon completion of studies.
