Durham Public Schools Scholarship Foundation

In 1993, the Rachel Lawrence Scholarship fund was established in honor of Mrs. Lawrence’s many years of service in the promotion of parent involvement. The scholarship is to be awarded to one senior in the Durham Public Schools System.

Graduating seniors in each traditional senior high school in the Durham Public Schools System may apply for this special scholarship. The Rachel Lawrence Scholarship is for students who have demonstrated leadership and volunteer service in their school and community. Requires overall 3.00 GPA and acceptance into an accredited college or university or community college.
