PSR/Sacramento High School Scholarship Essay Contest
The Sacramento/Davis Area Chapter of Physicians for Social Responsibility
This scholarship is for students attending school in Sacramento, Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, El Dorado, Nevada, Placer, San Joaquin, Solano, Sutter, Yolo, or Yuba county. Applicants must submit a 500-word (or less) essay describing their thoughts on the following quote: “Democracy cannot succeed unless those who express their choice are prepared to choose wisely. The real safeguard of democracy, therefore, is education.” -President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. See website for further detail.
