To be eligible the student must be a current year graduate of a Parke or Vermillion County high school, be the child of parents who in the preceding calendar year derived at least 50% of their income from farming or have been a participant in the 4-H Swine Program for at least 5 years. The student must be planning to pursue a post-secondary degree at an accredited college, university, or trade school.
