Palmetto Electric Cooperative

Each year, three local high school juniors are chosen to represent Palmetto Electric Cooperative in the Rural Electric Youth Tour, a weeklong educational trip to Washington, D.C. The Youth Tour gives students a chance to see government in action, visit historical sites and learn all about electric cooperatives. Three high school juniors are also chosen to participate in the Cooperative Youth Summit, a four day trip to Columbia, S.C.
