Community Foundation of Greater Memphis

This scholarship is for African American high school seniors who are graduating from public high schools in Fayette County, Tennessee. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must have a 2.5 GPA or better. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must read the "History of the Fayette County, Tennessee Civil Rights Movement" provided in the scholarship application and write an essay explaining how this history might impact their education/career goals to advance the social, economic, racial, or other conditions that affect African Americans.
