This scholarship is for traditional and non-traditional age applicants from North Carolina. Students must be seeking a two- or four-year degree or enrolled in a program leading to a certificate or diploma in healthcare education such as, but not limited to, registered nursing, licensed practical nursing, physician assistant, family nurse practitioner, nuclear medicine, radiography, and respiratory therapy. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must demonstrate financial need, not restricted to lowest incomes and provide an acceptance letter for the enrolled program. Preference is given to residents of Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Stokes, Surry, Wilkes and Yadkin counties.
