The award requires that you participate in a varsity sports program in the
current academic year, and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA. Students
receiving a full tuition scholarship from another source will not be eligible. Applicants
are asked to write a one-page essay on the following topic: “Experience is a hard
teacher because she gives the test first, and the lesson afterward.” ~ Vernon Law,
