Mike Davis Team Spirit Award

Community Foundation of Western North Carolina

This scholarship is for graduating seniors at Freedom High School in Morganton, North Carolina. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be the captain of the boys' or girls' basketball team and must be nominated by their basketball coach. Applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria: strong moral character, exemplary sportsmanship, putting the team before themselves, and enthusiastic participation at practice and support at basketball games. Applicants must plan to attend an accredited four-year college/university or two-year community college/vocational school.
