The Mattelyn Magill Survivor Scholarship honors the Cancer and Bone Marrow Transplant journey and survival of Mattelyn Magill, a student of Miamisburg City Schools. It was established to financially assist graduating seniors of Miamisburg High School planning on pursuing an education at a four-year college in the state of Ohio. Applicants must:
• Be a graduating senior from Miamisburg High School
• Be accepted to an accredited four-year college or university in the state of Ohio
• Have a minimum 3.0 GPA
• Be a full-time student
• Demonstrate financial need
• Have 20 hours of documented community service during the senior year
• Submit two letters of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, employer or community service supervisor.
