Applicant must be a high school graduating senior enrolled to begin classes at a community or four year college/university. Applicant must also satisfy one of the following: (1) be of Portuguese descent, (2) currently taking Portuguese language classes at high school level with a minimum GPA of 3.0, and (3) having attended the Luso-American Education Foundation Cultural Youth Summer Camp for a minimum of 2 years, with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
