Lovettsville-Waterford Ruritan Ambitious Spirit Scholarship

Loudoun County Public Schools

One scholarship will be awarded to a student continuing on to a four-year university, community college, technical school, or vocational school who has demonstrated/documented overcoming challenges and/or adversity.

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and resident of the Lovettsville/Waterford area with a zip code of either 20180 or 20197 during their junior and senior years

Have a minimum GPA of 2.5

Demonstrated financial need

Demonstrated involvement in school activities and/or employment

Demonstrated involvement in community service

Have been accepted to attend a technical/vocational school, community college, or four-year university/college

Applicants must use the L-W Ruritan Application Form

Funds will be paid directly to the students’ institution of higher learning
