Maine Administrators of Services for Children with Disabilities (MADSEC)

This scholarship is for undergraduate and graduate students from the University of Maine system who are matriculating toward a degree in teaching special education, preferably in the area of severe disabilities, but anyone pursuing a degree in special education will be considered. Preference may be given to applicants following a non-traditional path to the profession. Scholarships will be awarded based on GPA, paid and/or volunteer work experience with people with disabilities, resume, and a statement of commitment to working with students with disabilities.
