Awarded to a female graduating senior from any high school in Ventura County enrolling in an accredited 4-year college or university OR to a female Ventura County community college student transferring to an accredited 4-year college or university to enroll as a candidate for an undergraduate degree in Physical or Natural Science (no social sciences) with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicants must demonstrate financial need. Preference in the selection process will be given to applicants who are the first member of their family to attend college. Preference in the selection process will be given to applicants who will major in biology or related area.
