Applicant must be a graduating senior in the Kaleva Norman School District (KND) and must have completed their junior and senior years in KND; have a GPA of 2.5 or higher; and plan to enroll full-time at any two or four-year accredited college, university, or vocational/technical school. Selection is based on a one-page essay describing volunteer involvement in community and additional criteria including financial need, community involvement/volunteer service, academic performance, and leadership and achievement.

Applicants must also submit a one-page essay describing their volunteer involvement in their community to the Brethren High School Guidance Counselor.
