In 1988, former Southern High School students established the John T. Smith Memorial Scholarship to honor the impact that he made in the lives of his students.
Graduating seniors at Southern High School may apply for this special scholarship. The John T. Smith Memorial Scholarship is for students who have demonstrated academic and leadership qualities. Minimum 2.50 GPA is required.
