The George H. Hitchings New Investigator Award in Health Research will support pre-doctoral research in the health sciences with awards made to students working toward the degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at North Carolina State University. Applicants must be in their second year of doctoral study and demonstrate a desire to pursue a career path in academic teaching and research.
