Families of Freedom Scholarship Fund

This scholarship is for dependent children and spouses of 9/11 victims, including airplane crew and passengers; World Trade Center and Pentagon workers, visitors, and relief workers; and firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and law enforcement personnel who were involved in the rescue efforts. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be enrolling in a course of study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school based in the United States. Applicants also must demonstrate financial need. Full-time students attending school for the entire upcoming academic year must submit an application by May 15; all other students, including those attending school part-time, taking individual or certification courses, or those attending full-time who did not meet the criteria for the first group, must submit an application before the end of their term; see website for details.
