Dorothy Tutt Asbury Memorial Scholarship

The Dorothy Tutt Asbury Memorial Scholarship Fund provides an annual scholarship to a graduating senior from Taft High School in Taft, Texas who shares Dorothy Tutt Asbury’s love for learning and service and who plans to continue his or her education at a two-year or four-year college or university or at a vocational or technical school. Eligible students shall be graduating seniors from Taft High School in Taft, Texas, have a minimum 3.0 GPA (rigor of curriculum will be taken into consideration), and show a spirit of loyalty and pride for the school community as well as a joy of service both at school and outside its walls. These scholarships will be supplemental for students who have already earned academic scholarships. Scholarships will be awarded on an annual basis and disbursed in full in August. Scholarships will be made co-payable to the school and the student and directly mailed to the school.
