David H. Clift Scholarship

American Library Association (ALA)

This scholarship is for students who have applied for admission to a formal program of library and information studies leading to a master's degree. To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must attend an ALA accredited master's program, must not have completed more than 12 semester hours towards MLS/MLIS/MIS prior to June 1 of the year awarded, and must be US or Canadian citizens. Scholarships are awarded based on academic excellence, leadership, and commitment to a career in librarianship. Transcripts are to be received on or before February 1; completed applications are due by March 1.
