Congressional Seminar Essay Contest

National Society of the Colonial Dames of America (NSCDA)

This essay contest is for students who are currently in their sophomore, junior, or senior year of high school. Winners of this scholarship, will receive the opportunity to spend a week in Washington DC to attend a Congressional Seminar Workshop. The award will pay for the following expenses: application fee, tuition, seminar materials, local transportation (for seminar activities), plus college dorm room, bedding, linens, and two meals daily at a university campus in the DC area. To enter this contest, applicants must submit an essay on the given topic.
