This scholarship is for graduating seniors who are US citizens and Minnesota residents who have been admitted to a four-year public college or university in Minnesota. To qualify, applicants must have at least a 2.5 GPA, be 21 years of age or younger when admitted as a freshman, have faced challenges in their lives and learned from them, and be highly motivated and know why they want a college education. Applicants' family income must show significant financial stress/challenges in paying for their college education. Scholarship recipients must live on campus during their freshman year and achieve at least a 2.5 GPA for continued eligibility.
