Ben Paine received a scholarship from the Community Foundation of NCW as a senior at Wenatchee High School in 1995. As an adult, Ben and his family chose to give back to the community that gave to him by starting a foundation to raise money for local students to attend college. Applicants must be graduating senior of Cashmere, Eastmont, River Academy, Wenatchee or Westside High Schools or a homeschooled student from those districts, will attend Wenatchee Valley College as a full-time student. have a minimum 2.0 GPA. Renewal is possible for recipients; must reapply and compete with new applicants. See website for details.
