The successful candidate will have declared a major in accounting, have completed Financial/Intermediate Accounting I and II courses before the 2020 fall semester , have “B” average in all accounting courses (3.0 on a 4.0 scale), have “B” average overall (3.0 on a 4.0 scale), have at least one full year left in school (fourth or fifth year), be enrolled with 6 hours per semester/12 hours per year minimum, be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident (green card), have a strong interest in a career in Alabama public accounting, and plan to pursue CPA licensure, but not presently be a CPA.
