AMS Project Grant

Associated Medical Services AMS Healthcare

The AMS History of Medicine Project Grant is designed to support small budget proposals on projects in the history of medicine and allied disciplines, including (but not limited to) science and technology studies, sociology, anthropology, and classics. To apply for an AMS Project Grant, the Principal Investigator (PI) must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident AND meet one of the following requirements: be employed as a health professional in Canada by a health care organization/ health authority/ provincial/national government, or be a researcher with an academic appointment at a Canadian university or affiliated research institution or hold an appointment (with research responsibilities) at an affiliated hospital/research centre/institute,or be employed by a health professions organization, eg., CMA, CNA, MCC, or a health professions regulatory body located in Canada.
