One or more scholarships are gifted annually to qualified University of North Dakota athletes who actively participate in a sanctioned NCAA sport, with priority to an outstanding athlete from North Dakota or Minnesota. Based on the criteria above, recipients are chosen annually by a process established with the University of North Dakota Athletic Department.
