To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be US citizens, under 31 years of age as of December 31 in year of graduation and commission, and be in good academic standing. Recommendation from immediate commander, financial statement showing resources adequate to pay college living expenses, admittance to a school offering Air Force ROTC and the academic major of scholarship, and at least one remaining year of college is required for this scholarship. All waiver requests are due to HQ AFROTC/RRUE NET September 1 and NLT October 15 each year.
