Since being at Winston Salem State University I have been impressed. The envirnoment is outstanding. The faculty and staff is excellent always willing to help. The school always have activities planned for students to attend.

When looking for a college to attend make sure you visit the school several time, talk to current students, meet faculty and staff. Make sure you are making your decision based on your needs and not anyone else.
Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?
Academic are rigorous, however there is the student center that offers tutoring for studets. WSSU also has a writing center that will assist you with writing issues.
Describe the dorm life at your college.
I live in one of the new dorms on campus, all new furniture, carpet and most up to date appliances. I LOVE IT! Home away from Home.

Food and dinning is good. WSSU offer a food court and campus dining. The food is always good.
What’s there to do for fun at your college?
For fun I hang out with my friends, play video games, attend campus activities and exercise.

I enjoy hanging out in the lobby area of my dorm. We all meet there in the evenings and on the weekends. The first week of freshman week was call Ramidition. This was so much fun and being able to bond with other freshman was great.

WSSU is great for all students.

I am a member of the Campus Radio Club, Student in Actiosn Club. There are many choice to choose from.

We always have campus police on duty. After certain hours you must show Id to get on Campus.
