Overview
Wells College is a coeducational 4-year liberal arts college located in the Finger Lakes region of New York State. Wells confers undergraduate degrees in a variety of academic majors and all classes feature hands-on learning components, including one required off-campus internship prior to graduation. In addition, Wells is home to the 3/2 program enabling students to earn two degrees with three years of study on campus and two additional years at an affiliated university. Once every year, Wells has an annual Odd/Even Tradition where students in even-numbered class years challenge those in odd-numbered years to a basketball game along with a handful of other activities.

Read What Students Are SayingSince I came to Wells it has been a great ride. My classes have not been easy by a long shot. I have taken courses in International Studies, Politics, Philosophy, English and Science. The professors for the most part all have doctorates and undergraduate degrees from Ivy League schools. However they are not above helping you when you need help, as long as you ask. Professors cannot read your mind, so in order to help a student they must first ask. My writing has been a problem since my freshman year, and since I've come to wells my major professors have really helped me improve upon my writing skills.

The courses taught here are just like any other college. However, the small size allows you to communicate with your professors and develop more personal connections with them. These connections will make you feel more comfortable talking during class and clarifying anything you need. This will make difficult classes just a little bit better

The campus has a lake in front of it and the buildings in which there are classes are close to the dorms so it's easy to travel around campus.
