Nolan's Review

Review of University of Wisconsin-Madison

from Brookfield , WI

How would you describe the dorm life at this school?

The dorm life is very dependent on which part of campus you choose to live in. If you choose a southeast dorm, you will definetly meet a lot of people, but that comes with a tradeoff of being rather loud at times. Lakeshore dorms are definitely quieter, but I have also heard that there is less of a communal aspect to dorm life there.

How would you describe the food and dining options?

The dining halls are ok; Gordon's is usually very busy, but has good food most of the time. The lack of variety definitely starts to hit you by the end of the year.

In your experience, what is there to do for fun at this college?

There are so many different things you can do depending on your interests. There is something for everybody. It really feels like a college town where there are many different things for students to do in their free time. The bar scene is great, plenty of good restaurants, the zoo is a lot of fun, and just chilling by a lake is very peaceful.
