Describe your college in three sentences.

UWGB is perfect for anyone who wants to find a fun community with interesting classes.

Do you have any tips for prospective students?

Make sure you don't mind an emptier campus on the weekends-that is seriously the only con to this wonderful school. Enough people stay on the weekends though that you can normally find someone.

Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?

The professors definitely keep you busy and studying. They are willing to help you though, and there are plenty of tutors for those who need extra help and the professor is already swamped.

Describe the dorm life at your college.

It's fun to meet people, but apart from that...there isn't much that kept my interest. They have Haunted Halls, and that is the best thing the dorms have had so far.

Describe the food and dining at your college.

The food is really good. However, it is limited and rather expensive. Even if you don't eat alot, you might want the middle plan if you plan on eating more than fried foods.

What’s there to do for fun at your college?

They do have a lot of activities. They have Mix Mashed Mondays-making magnets, Bingo, spin art. They also have the Phoenix Club with pool, a Wii, ping-pong, a playstation, and an xbox connect. Not to mention the different people who come to speak and a variety of other things.

Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?

I am academically challenged and there are enough events on campus to distract me when I can't study anymore.

Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus

The seniors throw their shoes into the shoe tree when they graduate.

Which types of students will excel at your college?

Anyone who wants to have a rigorous academic schedule and have plenty of events during the week and go home on the weekends or don't mind an empty campus.

Are you involved in any clubs or activities?

ASL, WEA, ENACTUS....there are so many orgs, that there is a fair dedicated just to them.

How would you describe campus safety? Do you feel safe on campus?

I feel pretty safe walking back because there are so many dorms and people around. Public Safety is quick to respond to anything.
