Review of University of South Alabama

from Valley, AL

Do you feel you’re learning a lot?

I learned a lot in my first year of school. The teachers help you in any way they can, rather that is working with you after class or referring you to a tutor. I am looking forward to beginning my second year of college there.

Do you enjoy the experience at your school?

I really enjoy being at South Alabama. The people are nice and overly friendly. If they can help you find something, they will.

Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?

I think I am really getting the most bang for my buck.

Do you have any tips for prospective students?

Tips that I would give prospective students would be, don't be afraid to ask questions because the people are really nice and helpful. You could make a friend just by asking a question. When I began school there, I didn't know anyone at all, but now I have more friends than I can count. The second tip would be don't be afraid to be yourself because it's many different types of people so if you be yourself, you will fit in just fine. The third tip would be to look over the Jag Tran routes before the first day of school so they will not get on the wrong one.

Which types of students will excel at your college?

The University of South Alabama is a great school for any types of people. There are many different types there already so anyone would be able to find a friend.
