Review of University of San Diego

from Placerville, CA

Do you feel you’re learning a lot?

Great professors, small classes, and great study environment if you go looking for it. The core can be fun and interesting and once you get past that into what you want to major in they only get better.

Do you enjoy the experience at your school?

This is the best choice I ever made. You can find any type of person at USD so it is not hard to find your own niche. The city of San Diego is awesome as well, and sometimes its so awesome you spend more time at the beach than in the books.

Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?

I'm personally on a scholarship, but I do see how expensive it is for other people and feel as though it could be a little cheaper.

Do you have any tips for prospective students?

It you have decent grades this school will not be a problem to get into; I recommend the Valley for housing. Also, don't be swayed by this being a religious school, because even though they emphasize it it doesn't really matter what you believe in.

Which types of students will excel at your college?

This is typical Southern California beach university, so the SoCal trendy thing is pretty popular. Great for ROTC guys and girls, and also for people studying business and liberal arts.
