diverse students and faculty members. professors are up to date on the latest information, and many still work in their fields of expertise. variety of resources available to students in their search for internships, jobs, study abroad opportunities etc.

Do you have any tips for prospective students?

not a party school, people go out and have fun, but you're expected to also be able to get your work done and not get in trouble

Do you find there’s enough academic rigor at your school?

work is challenging, but they're is numerous resources available to students besides the professors to gain extra help

Describe the dorm life at your college.

double and triple rooms, suite style, and apartment style

Describe the food and dining at your college.

variety of selections, main dining hall and other separate dining locations on campus and off including dunkin donuts, subway, and mcdonalds all within a five minute walk or so

What’s there to do for fun at your college?

mall with a variety of stores, barnes and noble, movie theaters, and variety of night clubs downtown, all just a short shuttle bus ride away

Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus

tradition for first year students not to step on the giant blue unh letters on the green, for it's considered bad luck and you'll supposedly flunk out.

Which types of students will excel at your college?

those interested in learning from professors who still in the work field, interested in working with other students from very diverse backgrounds, and anyone looking to be pushed to exceed and want help in achieving their career goals

piro, spell, pride, victomology club, criminal justice association, fire science association, etc

ten or so varieties of frats and sororities on campus, plus a few that aren't on campus
