Franklin Sellner's Review
Review of University of Denver
How would you describe the food and dining options?
I’d advise prospective students to not expect any university dining hall to be a 5-star restaurant. What I like most about our dining hall is the various options that are available and there is always something that you can find that you’ll like. You can also mix and match at different stations which is really nice. Apart from the main dining hall, there are plenty of other on-campus dining locations that are great, and you can spend your allotted meal plan cash at those locations. They come in clutch
In your experience, what is there to do for fun at this college?
DU has one of the most ideal locations for a college student. It is 15 mins from downtown Denver, 10 minutes from a major tech hub (internships), and less than an hour from the Rocky Mountains, with endless possibilities for skiing, hiking, camping, etc.
There are also always events on campus that are planned and hosted by the university along with many clubs and student orgs, and many campus traditions that are a blast.
How has your college supported your career development and future goals?
College has helped me step outside of my comfort zone, while also focusing within myself and identifying what’s most important to me as a student and an individual. It has pushed me to pursue my dreams, and have fun while doing it.
