Eleanor's Review

Review of University of Colorado Colorado Springs

from Colorado Springs, CO

Do you feel you’re learning a lot?

The courses are challenging and fun, but not impossibly hard. Interpersonal Communication, Map and Compass, and Freshman Seminar are really fun! The standards are higher than they were in high school, but just give it your best and you will do okay!

Do you enjoy the experience at your school?

I have enjoyed all my classes so far! I haven't met a professor that I really disliked yet!

Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?

If you are a resident and apply for the COF (College Opportunity Fund), the tuition is really not all that expensive.

Do you have any tips for prospective students?

If you are a communter student, arrive to class at least 15-20 minutes early (I usually arrive about 30 minutes early) because parking spaces are very limited. The parking garage usually has spaces if the lots don't (I almost always park in the garage anyway because then your car is protected from weather). Professors are usually very approachable, so just ask them about things if you have questions or problems.

Which types of students will excel at your college?

You see all kinds of students on campus, and there are clubs that would appeal to anyone's interests! :)
