UT Tyler is a fantastic institution all around. The professors and staff have been nothing but helpful. The campus is beautiful, the city offers much for entertainment, and the school of music is stellar.

Take advantage of all the amenities and resources that your tuition covers. Do not be afraid to ask for help: there are tutors and psychiatrists on campus ready to help you. Also, do not wait until the last minute to take care of financial matters when it comes to your education.

Tyler, TX, has multiple movie theaters, with on of them being a studio grill. The amount of restaurants here is almost a sin. The city offers many recreational things you can do, like bowling, sports, and even state parks.

There are two lakes on campus. A great place to go and relax or study.
