Overview
With a focus on bringing the benefits of health science study to citizens of Tennessee, The University of Tennessee-Health Science Center is a public health institution with a main campus in Memphis. UTHSC is made up of six colleges concentrating in Allied Health Sciences, Graduate Health Sciences, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Medicine, and Nursing. In addition, UTHSC partners with seven core teaching hospitals in Memphis to provide clinical experiences. Beyond academia, UTHSC students provide a number of services to the community including a pro bono clinic for uninsured children and a campus food drive.
