Review of The University of Alabama

from Tuscaloosa, AL

Do you feel you’re learning a lot?

Coming to college you are expected to learned. Coming to the University of Alabama you love to learn. I never really wanted to learn but each teacher here has their own way of making it very interesting and fun to learn. Each teacher loves what they do and enjoys the subject themselves and they want you to see it to.

Do you enjoy the experience at your school?

Although, I am not apart of a sport team, or any Greek organizations. I have still enjoyed being here. The University has many different things that you can do. I love being able to go to the quad and just look around.

Do you feel you’re getting value for the money you’re spending on college?

The University not only uses your tuition for paying the wonderful teachers here, but they use it to better you. They use the money for building, grounds, and buses. If they see that a building is not standing up to what the university standards are, they call in a repair group. You will never have to worry about grounds, there is always someone cleaning, sweeping, mopping, or mowing. The bus system for UA is the best! Although each bus could be a little later then the normal 15 minutes, the bus system makes it easy to get from the other side of campus quick!

Do you have any tips for prospective students?

The biggest tip I have for a prospective student is to not just sit in your room. Get out to know someone, or maybe just your roommate! Get out and go someone, walk around campus, walk around the strip on University. I would say get involved you never want to just go to class, come home, and repeat.

Which types of students will excel at your college?

-Hands on students -social students -eager to learn students -ready to have fun students
