Overview
Southern Careers Institute is a for-profit vocational and career training college with seven campuses throughout central and southern Texas. SCI is home to five vocational departments and 22 academic programs conferring 38 technical certificates. Furthermore, SCI makes seven career programs available entirely online. In addition to classroom facilities, the SCI locations in Brownsville and San Antonio include on-campus salons where students in the school’s Cosmetology and Manicure Technician programs perform services for the public.
