Overview
Established in 1899, Sharon Regional Health System School of Nursing is a small, private institution located in Pennsylvania that focuses on training student to become Registered Nurses (RNs). Sharon maintains a partnership with Penn State-Shenango so students can take academic courses just a mile away from the School of Nursing. Students at Sharon average 120 hours of clinical and are able to gain experience in multiple areas, including the Women’s Center, ER, and in acute medical-surgical nursing units. Sharon provides access to a simulation lab, as well, and all students must complete a 135 hour practicum.
