Quentin Pace's Review
Review of Seton Hall University
In which ways do you feel you are learning and growing?
Seton Hall offers a very well rounded education in a broad range of disciplines. I am a Finance and Accounting major, but I learn much outside of just that. All business majors are required to take a variety of business classes like marketing, financial accounting, economics, among other things to make sure they understand the business world as a whole. You also have to take religion and philosophy related classes that have forced me to think critically and expand the way I view the world.
What qualities do you have that have best prepared you for success at this institution?
I believe a good work ethic and an outgoing attitude are the two things that have helped me do well. My work ethic has helped me to succeed in my classes and outside the classroom, and my outgoing attitude has allowed me to make meaningful connections.
In what ways do you feel this college challenges students academically?
It forces students to think critically, and not just memorize information. It is easy to just memorize, but it is hard to think critically about issues.
