Michael's Review

Review of Seton Hall University

from Marlboro, NJ

In which ways do you feel you are learning and growing?

My professors at Seton Hall are not only great at what they teach, but extremely passionate about it, too. I'm a Psychology major and the professors in this department care very much about what discipline they specialize in, which makes me want to learn even more about all different aspects Psychology! But it's not only the faculty in my specified field, I've had philosophy professors make me learn more about my world view from a new perspective in their classroom. I would say the most important part of my education at Seton Hall has been their focus on the liberal arts. For me, being able to study many different disciplines has made me not just a good student, but a more well rounded individual.

How are you enjoying your time at this college?

I've been able to make many connections with faculty and friends here at Seton Hall. With our relatively small classes, I feel like I have a strong relationship with my professors and classmates which has grown my enjoyment at college. I know I chose the right school for me because I have taken every resource available for me and made the best of it. I choose to visit my professors at office hours, meet with my TAs, and make new friends in clubs, all of which have made me love Seton Hall more.

How does this institution support campus safety or mental health and wellness programs?

I feel as if Seton Hall puts students' health first and offer amazing resources that help students stay healthy mentally or physically. Seton Hall has the CAPS office, which offers free one on one or group mental health counseling for students. There is also the Health Services office, which you can visit if you are feeling sick or if you are injured.
