Seton Hall seemed very committed to preparing their students as best they could for their careers. Service seemed almost as important as academics.

The residence hall we toured had a lot of shared room downstairs that encouraged the sort of camaraderie that I look for in a school.

I was there for an open house, so the food was most likely better than usual, but I was impressed with quality and variety.
What’s there to do for fun at your college?
South Orange is close enough to New York City that I don't think people would have a problem finding something to do on the weekends. Keep in mind that I was only there for a campus visit and didn't explore the area very much.
How would you describe campus safety? Do you feel safe on campus?
It is a gated campus, which does make it feel much safer. However, turning right outside of the main entrance, you see a not-so-great part of town, so the extra security does seem necessary. Overall, however, I did feel safe for my whole visit.
