Hannah's Review
Review of Seton Hall University
In which ways do you feel you are learning and growing?
As a biology major in the Dual Degree 3+3 PA program, all of my professors at Seton Hall have been so dedicated to my education and growth as a student. In all my courses my professors always have plenty of office hours opportunities and encourage questions during class. All these resources have truly supplemented my learning, teaching me how to improve my study methods and work ethic.
What tips can you share with prospective students?
Get involved on campus as much as you can! Definitely attend the student club fair at the beginning of the semester to see all the student organizations we have on campus. Attending GBMs for different clubs and meeting new people outside of class is one of the best ways to make friends on campus.
How would you describe the dorm life at this school?
It's super convenient living on campus! The RA's are all super nice and willing to answer any questions you have. Especially living in Xavier Hall, it's right at the center of campus and super close to the University Center and Dining Hall. I've lived on campus every year so far and have met so many amazing friends by doing so.
How would you describe the food and dining options?
Auntie Anne's recently opened on campus which was been a super popular option among students! The Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts are also great to have in the UC and Library. Even though we only have one dining hall on campus, there are a ton of different stations and plenty of seating too.
In what clubs or organiziations have you participated and how have they impacted your overall experience?
I have been involved with SHU Pre-PA Club and SHU Korean Student Association (KSA). I enjoy the balance of being in a career oriented club as well as a cultural/social club! Being on E-Board for both clubs really allowed me to get more involved on campus, I've have tons of fun helping to plan different events from Pre-PA/Pre-PT game night mixers, to Lunar New Year festivals.
