Review of Seton Hall University

What tips can you share with prospective students?

My biggest advice is to get involved right away, even if it feels intimidating. Joining clubs, going to events, and even introducing yourself to people in class makes the transition so much smoother. Also, use the campus resources, you’re paying for them. The gym facilities are really nice and a great way to relieve stress. For nursing specifically, stay on top of your work, but also don’t be afraid to lean on classmates because everyone’s in the same boat.

How does this institution support campus safety or mental health and wellness programs?

I’ve personally felt supported in both areas. Campus security is always visible and approachable and we have blue light systems around campus which makes me feel extra safe. The first day on campus you are also given campus securities phone number which is amazing. For mental health, there are counseling services available, and professors are usually really understanding if you’re struggling. Having both in person and virtual therapy free for students is huge.
